The Final program for the conference on Alternative Care for Children and Youth in Europe is available for download.

The Conference on Quality of Alternative Care for Children and Youth in Europe will take place on 18 -19 September in the Szent Adalbert Training, Spiritual and Conference Center in Esztergom, Hungary, http://www.szentadalbert.hu/e_konferencia_kozpont.php

Aim of the Conference is to reflect on the quality of alternative care for children in Europe over the past 20 years and look at how our visions are far from reality, as well as to closer elaborate the following specific issues:

• Care leavers

• Drug addiction among children/youth in care

• Alternative care of children with disabilities

• Alternative care solutions for unaccompanied migrant minors

The conference is jointly organized by FICE Europe and Hungarian Directorate-General for Social Affairs and Child Protection, on the occasion of celebrating 20th anniversary of FICE Europe and 20 years of the Hungarian Child Care Law.
