General Objective: To promote effective transition towards community-based services in children and youth care sector.
Specific Objectives:
To raise awareness regarding effective implementation of community-based care services;
To contextualise new national legislation with current EU DI trends and frameworks;
To analyse its content and potentialities;
To provide examples of good practices to encourage its effective implementation.
Target Audience: Researchers, practitioners, policy makers, administration stakeholders from the child and youth care sector from all national territories.
Expected Outcome: To facilitate a debate with the key stakeholders on transition from institutional to community-based services and deinstitutionalisation (DI) that will contribute to promote and effective implementation of the new child care legislation.
