FICE Bulgaria realized two mobilities for child and youth care professionals under the Erasmus+ Prog

FICE Bulgaria is implementing project “U.P.G.R.A.D.E. – United professionals for generating resources for adults delivering education”, №КА104/АЕ-38/07.11.2017, funded by the Erasmus + Program of the EC, in partnership with the Therapeutic Communities, Austria( Bundesverband Therapeutischen Gemeinschaften). The project aims to increase the capacity of FICE Bulgaria high quality trainings for professionals working with children in residential care, especially children who have had traumatic experiences.

Two mobilities of child and youth care professionals were realized. The first one took place from 24 to 30 June in Vienna, Austria. 8 Bulgarian child and youth care professionals were trained on "Trauma Pedagogy. Theory and Practice" by Hermann Radler.

The second mobility was realized from 26 August to 1 September. The 8 Bulgarian professionals were trained on “Methods and techniques for training adults, providing social services for children who have experienced trauma”.

After they have returned, the Bulgarian professionals will develop a training program on the topic of Trauma Pedagogy and will provide training to a broader group of child and youth care professionals.
